there is a vacancy called spot admission conducte after the counseiling is complete .there would be 20 % seat vacant in the departments during this time.
firsr secure a admission in SOME COLLEGE then after play with the dice....

Procedure of spot:
To participate in spot round of NIT firstly, you have to surrender your seat before a given date (Dates will be announced by CCMT)
Approximately 2 to 3 days before vacant seats status of every nits will display.
You have to select The NIT with your own decision and possibilities.
You have to physically appear at NIT with important documents and Gate Score Card According to given schedule.
No need to fill any extra form online but you have to fill the form of NIT.
So my suggestion is just download the application form and fill it before going.
Keep 2 sets of Xerox copies before reporting.
There is no extra fee for the students who have applied at CCMT but you have to show proof of CCMT so please take some snapshots from CCMT Website and take 2 copies.
The students who have not applied for CCMT they have to create a separate DD along with application form.
